What is Friday?

Friday is a platform where musicians sell music directly to fans. We are artist-owned and built by musicians for musicians.

What can I sell on Friday?

Right now, digital downloads — upload your albums and fans can buy and download them in multiple audio formats. Physical merch is coming soon. Our mission is to build the best ecommerce platform for musicians, bar none.

How much does it cost?

It costs nothing to sign up and upload your music. When you make a sale, Friday takes a 13% revenue share — better than Bandcamp's 15%. We make money when artists make money.

How do payments work?

Payments are powered by Stripe. When you sign up as an artist, you'll create a connected Stripe account. Fans pay through Stripe checkout, and payouts go directly to your Stripe account.

Are there any other fees?

Stripe charges its own payment processing fees (typically ~2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). These are standard Stripe fees and are separate from Friday's 13% revenue share.

How do I get started?

Sign up for an artist account, set up your profile, and start uploading your music. That's it.
